Criticism

Voice Stress Analysis (VSA) used to be a controversial lie detection technology. It was described as pseudoscientific, although there is a wealth of scientific basis for the underlying theory of "microtremors".^[4]  Federally funded research via the American Polygraph Association in the United States showed "little validity" in the technique.^[5]
Air Force Research Laboratory^[6] conducted validation studies into VSA concluded that mainstream VSA^[7] were as reliable as polygraph when used by expertly trained examiner-operators.

Accuracy

Funded by the National Institute of Justice, a three-year study by the AFRL determined that voice stress analysis achieved an accuracy rate of 100% when used to detect stress in 45 known-conclusion responses.  The discrepancy in researched accuracy may result from incorrectly trained or non-trained persons utilizing the technology incorrectly.^]  The traditional analysis and scoring of voice-grams by means of assigning 'percentages' is time consuming, (and) has been replaced by 7 position scoring and lately by AVSA PRO auto scoring.  Alpes-Software developed AVSA PRO, which is a unique, evolutionary, fully automatic VSA system.

2012 - The Year of Unlocking the Truth

Voice Stress Analysis being the modern method of Lie Detecting is also becoming the preferred service to unlocking the truth - this has come to my attention over the last few years of being in the Detection of Deception Industry.

Clearing with the Tax Man!

It is said that there are only a few things in life that we HAVE to do in order to survive, ie; breathe, drink water and, er, well the third I won't mention here.... I would however like to add a fourth MUST DO for survival, or at least a MUST DO in order to not have sleepless nights, and that is to PAY THE TAX MAN!

So, I can confirm that I am in 'GOOD STANDING' with our local Receiver of Revenue!!

Recently a good client placed all business with me on hold until I could provide them with a Tax Clearance Certificate in my personal capacity since I operate as a Sole Proprietor, providing them with my services as a Voice Stress Analyst.

Promptly this Certificate was forwarded to my client- since my taxes are up to date, the Receiver was able to forward me this haloed piece of paper in no time at all!

And now it is again ' Business as Usual'!

End of 2011 is very near!

And so, we all begin our preparations to close off 2011.

It is usual at this time of the year that many companies discover they have not completed the last round of tests that would complete their Honesty Management Program for the year - and then require an appointment urgently!
